Learn to eat, exercise and think your way back to a younger version of yourself.

‘Growing’ is more about a state of mind than just a physical state of being and many of us can become ‘old before our time’. We give in to age, convincing ourselves that the attitudes and activities of youth have passed us by. But it’s possible to retain a youthful zest for life well into our old age. By living and thinking in a younger way, we can slow the ageing process down and continue to live life to the full. On this life-enhancing 5 day retreat, self-help guru Thilo Keller will be showing the group:

  • How to create healthy eating habits (including a mealplan that works for most)
  • How to set up a functioning work-out routine (yes, you will get the opportunity to train together, and if you’re up for it, we can dress up or throw in a nude workout just for the fun of it)
  • How to challenge your mind towards a younger and healthier mindset
  • How to create a lifestyle that nourishes body, mind and soul
  • Have plenty of time to relax with the group and explore the region

At the age of 12, my mum wasn’t able to attend a wholegrain cooking course that she had booked, so she sent me instead. The food we learned to prepare was far from delicious, however it opened my eyes to the world of healthy nutrition.

At the age of 14, I prepared talks on pesticides and toxins in food, together with a school teacher, and my interest in healthy, delicious and nurturing food has stayed with me ever since.

When I learned about my HIV-infection, I started to look closer into how the immune system works and since 70-80% of the entire immune system is located in the gut, I felt the need to dig much deeper to truly understand how to improve my health and well-being.

I started intensifying my Yoga practice and later ran a Yoga retreat center in Morocco. I trained in life-coaching and hypnosis therapy and I was lucky enough to learn a huge amount more about food, the gut and the immune system as well as hormonal and neurotransmitter systems – from my teachers Gustav Jirikowski and Hartmut Tulaszewski.

Since 2011, I’ve been teaching nutrition therapy at a naturopathy school and have helped hundreds of people to significantly improve their well-being. Even after more than 13 years of working in the fields of lifestyle, yoga, mindset and nutrition, I am deeply touched whenever I hear clients telling me how their sleep or mood has improved; how they can walk, sing, or run better; how their digestion has normalised so that they can participate in social life again; how the pain in their joints has disappeared; how allergies have disappeared; how they’ve lost 15 kilos; how their focus and memory has improved or how they generally feel lighter, more energetic and feel a greater joy in their daily life. I love my work for the positive effects it brings and at the same time, I try to infuse it with a good amount of playfulness and fun.

The Lonely Planet named the Languedoc region in the south of France as one of its ‘BEST IN TRAVEL’ regions for 2017. Miles of beaches, France’s best medieval and Roman ruins, pretty villages, the city of Montpellier and endless wine-tasting opportunities make it one of the top destinations in the world. We can also arrange activities for partners who don’t want to join the cycling – such as Food Tours, Wine Tours, Nature Walks and Painting & Sketching outings.
